Socorro Consolidated Schools

 

Technology Committee 2009-2010

 

 

The Technology Committee for Socorro Consolidated Schools helps create and update the Technology Plan, participates in the evaluation of E-Rate vendors, and advises the Director of Technology on the technology needs of the schools.

 

The Technology Committee is currently operating under the NMPED approved Technology Plan for 2008-2011.

 

 

The following are the members of the 2009-2010 Technology Committee:

Meetings

 

The Technology Commitee meets the 2nd Tuesday monthly from 3:30-5:00 PM at Central Office in the Board Room. The meetings are open to anyone.

 

Goals for 2009-2010

 

1.  Re-writing the SCSD Technology Plan

 

2.  Spending the Technology Funds from the School Bond

 

3.  Investigating and implementing new resources for Educational Technology and integratting technology into lesson planning

 

4.  Improving Technology training and professional development for teachers and staff
