Welcome to the Socorro Tech Committee 2008-2009

The 2008-2011 Technology Plan for Socorro Consolidated Schools was unanimously approved by the School Board on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

The formal letter of approval from NMPED, Educational Technology Bureau, is dated January 16, 2009.

First, please accept my thanks for participating in the development of this plan. Besides my personal appreciation, you are performing a very valuable function for the students, teachers and administrators at Socorro Consolidated Schools.

When you go to the next page (Technology Plan), you will see a 17-page document that represents my draft. You will be able to edit it, make changes or add any comments that you'd like. This is a collaborative effort, so your input is valued.

The way that you make changes is by clicking on the EDIT button at the top of the page. Remember to click SAVE when you are done. You can practice by adding your name to the list of people who have read this page.

Please complete your collaborative efforts by Friday, October 17. I will compile a final draft over the weekend.

On Monday, October 20, we will meet briefly during the day to discuss the final plan and, if there aren't any objections or the need for further editing, we will vote to approve the plan.

The plan must be approved before Friday, October 24, so I can present it to the School Board for discussion.
